Many of my recent sessions have illuminated a very interesting pattern of living: protecting what doesn't belong to you.
Does working hard to maintain a status quo that isn't what you truly desire sound familiar? Are you in relationships that you don't even want? Are you working a job you don't really like? Do you eat foods your body doesn't actually require because someone said you should? I'm noticing that many people are operating from programming rather than from who they truly be.
When I investigate with clients why they continue their self-destructive ways of living they generally fumble over a few words and then spit out a story. I say story because it is simply a program, or tape, that runs the client's energy and certainly isn't the lightness of who they truly be.
At some point, the client bought this program, or story, as his or her own and, shazam, they created a universe they don't even want. The reason he or she doesn't actually desire the life outcome is that it was created from a program, or something that was untrue for them.
Even though change is truly desired, they will work endlessly at protecting the story. Remember how Dr. Frankenstein's creation (the monster) tortured him throughout eternity? These are the universes we create. At some point we thought it would be great if we could fit in and have what someone else was having but because we created from what was a lie for us (but maybe completely true for the other person), things got out of control.
Are you ready to have what you really desire now? What if you didn't have to be like anyone else, ever? What if fitting in was the cause of your self-destructive patterning. What if you were never meant to fit in but were designed to bring a fresh point of creation to the world?
Lit and Comp teacher gone rogue, disguised now as a Living and Relationship Coach, Body Worker, and Access Consciousness Facilitator, I still sneak off to write because, well, it makes me come alive and it's one of the joyful ways I create the future.
